Montgomery Advisory, LLC
Accounting Services
Accurate books, closed on time, explained in language you can repeat to a lender or a board. We handle the accounting work behind the scenes so the numbers are ready whenever a decision shows up.
What thislooks like
“Scope in writing,
before anything begins.”
Transaction review and correction — catching misposts, duplicates, and misclassified expenses before they distort a full year of reporting.
Bank, credit card, and loan reconciliation — every account tied out monthly so balances mean something.
Month-end close — accruals, adjusting entries, and a closed period you can rely on.
Monthly financial reporting — a report package with the short version of what changed and why.
Year-end preparation — clean records handed to your tax preparer, or straight into our own tax practice.
Who It's For
Small businesses, professional practices, and nonprofits in Bowie, Prince George's County, and across the country that need accounting done properly without hiring an internal finance team.
Pricing
Flat monthly fees based on transaction volume, accounting basis, and reporting needs — confirmed in writing in your Engagement Letter before work begins.
Questions we're asked
Anything not covered here is fair game during the initial consultation.
- Do you work with businesses outside Maryland?
- Yes. We're based in Bowie, Maryland and meet local clients in person when it helps, but most of the work happens securely online, and we support businesses across the country.
- What accounting software do you work in?
- We work in the major small-business platforms — QuickBooks Online chief among them — and will recommend what fits your volume and industry rather than moving you onto something you don't need.
- Our books are behind. Can you still help?
- That's a common starting point. We reconstruct and reconcile prior periods first so the current month has something reliable to sit on, then move you onto a monthly rhythm.
- How do we know what we'll pay?
- Fees are flat and confirmed in writing in your Engagement Letter before any work starts. Pricing follows the complexity of your business, not the hours we spend on it.
Let's start with a conversation — no obligation beyond it.
