- What's the difference between bookkeeping and accounting?
- Bookkeeping is the recording — every transaction categorized and reconciled as it happens. Accounting is the interpretation: closing the period, adjusting entries, and turning those records into statements you can act on. Most clients need both, and we scope them together.
- How often do you touch our books?
- Monthly for most clients. Businesses with high transaction volume or payroll cycles sometimes move to a twice-monthly rhythm so nothing piles up.
- Do you handle catch-up bookkeeping?
- Yes. Reconstructing several months — or several years — of records is a common first engagement, scoped separately from ongoing work.
- Do you offer bookkeeping locally in Bowie?
- We're based in Bowie, Maryland, so local clients can meet in person. The work itself is done securely online, which is also how we serve clients well outside Maryland.
